Work Experience

As a Grade 8 Quality Control technician For Hexcel Co. I was responsible for production testing during assigned work shift. Also required to monitor production lines by conducting surveillances of customer shop orders and machine data readings for the production of carbon fiber.  Tested carbon fiber for aerial weight and resin content using beakers with methylene chloride to break down each sample for test results. Measured customer (Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Air Bus) carbon fiber samples for ply thickness using Vernier calipers and digital micrometers.

Prior to the grade 8 Quality Control Technician position, I worked as a process associate for Hexcel. My duties and responsibilities included providing a safe working environment for my crew by following EHS and OAHA safety regulations. Also, setting up production line per customer (Boeing, Northrop Grumman, and Air Bus) specifications and insuring raw material lot numbers were correct per customer order. Also was involved in the hiring of employee candidates for D shift crew.
